Book ‘No Higher Power’: Catholic Church Paid to Send Obama to Alinsky-Founded Group’s Training | Receipt | TheBlaze.com

Book ‘No Higher Power’: Catholic Church Paid to Send Obama to Alinsky-Founded Group’s Training | Receipt | TheBlaze.com

So my next purchase for my Kindle library (when it becomes available)  will be No Higher Power by Phyllis Schlafly and George Neumayr.  The Blaze did an excellent review to wet the reader’s appetite.  I have always been a fan of Phyllis Schlafly.  She has been courageous in her defense of authentic feminism and a role model for the conservative woman’s voice. Women like Mrs. Schlafly are feared by mainstream Republicanism and progressives.  They are those who can change an argument with the face of the dignity of the person put dead center as the innocent victim of dehumanizing policies from the left or the right.  They are the women left out of the discussions in the Church, policy groups and greater politics. When these women do engage and raise their voices, they do so in profound ways.  Phyllis Schlafly has been there to lend her support to them.

Frankly, the CCHD has been no friend to these women.  It has funded those groups who have been unsupportive of the traditional family and its needs.  My vote is to shut its doors.  Read the book!

The Failure of Liberal Catholicism An examination of its claims - the first of a two-part series. By James Hitchcock

The Failure of Liberal Catholicism: Catholic World Report

A well-written essay that summarizes the plight of faithful Catholics who have had to endure the unfaithful interpretation of Vatican II. Vatican II was about what John Paul II referred to as the "New Evangelization" of the truth of the Gospel from the beginning of time and not about the realignment of truth for Catholics of and for their chance at the Enlightenment.

Hey Stay at Home Moms, Get a Job!!

http://www.ncregister.com/blog/hey-stay-at-home-moms-get-a-job?

Freedom to the politically correct is the ability to ignore what should be the ability to do what one ought to and for those that are considered the more equal in our society to impose licenses on the others for things they have no right to control.  Unbelievable quote by the former head of Planned Parenthood.

The Year of the Woman. Not.

Left note on the above post.  Worth reading a reacting to with a civil tongues.  Real issues affect all women and we need that honest discussion, the thought that inspired this blog.

What White Women Want, Surprisingly the GOP

What White Women Want, Surprisingly the GOP Some interesting statistics and breakdowns among women. Guess we can actually say that the "woman's vote" is not a monolithic act. Many of us are actually prolife...picture that and why is that the case?

Planned Parenthood's abortion quotas exposed

Planned Parenthood's abortion quotas exposed: "It is what it is" taking a life through abortion. The ultrasound served as the implement to drop the scales from this woman's eyes. Hopefully, her story will give others courage.

China steps back from one child policy - Times Online

China steps back from one child policy - Times Online http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/asia/article6726244.ece Now it is OK after forcing abortion and sterilization on the population. I guess they need to make more workers for the elite class to enjoy their retirement. Planned economies, planned people, planned extinctions...when will people acknowledge that the American experiment is so much better as it actually has considered the natural law in its fabric, and when will we stop putting ourselves down as the current administration does every day and with every foreign excursion? Of course, we do have to remember our government's role in population control by reviewing The Kissinger Report: http://www.lifesitenews.com/waronfamily/nssm200/nssm200.pdf

Pelosi Tries to Quell Concerns Over Abortion in Health Bill - Roll Call

Pelosi Tries to Quell Concerns Over Abortion in Health Bill - Roll Call The pro-life Catholics may be getting the message to turn up the heat on those "prolife Democrats", but they should not be easily fooled. Unless these guys shed political blood and fight the fight winning statutory gians, they should be thrown out for the phoneys they are. Until that happens, the claim "prolife Democrat politician" is a misnomer and an oxymoron meaning prochoice.

EWTN.com - Pro-Life Credibility of a "Common Ground" Congressman Questioned

EWTN.com - Pro-Life Credibility of "Common Ground" Congressman Questioned

Seems to me that those Democrats who think it is only enough to cast a vote and say they are personally against abortion don't realize they have a responsibility to put some teeth into it by becoming active in their local central committees demanding a place for the prolife position. They need politicians that would fall on the sword for the prolife issue. Of Course, they would be shocked by what they would find in the party structure. The moderate position is the clueless position. It does not change anything except the need for useful idiots in the march towards serfdom. We are in the middle of an epic battle-those who think the lessor evil is equivalent to the greater good and that through politics (not adhering to principals) we can find a gentle solution.

Newsmax.com - Robert Bork: Sotomayor Unqualified, Isn't 'Entirely Governed by Law'

Judge Bork is correct and if people don't want arbitrary decisions when they must go to court, they should listen the Judge. When going to court, one hopes the issue will be the law and not someone's political agenda that has been put forward by less than honest means. Justice is suppose to be blind and based only on facts and law (are those days gone?)

Peggy-Who-the-Heck-Are-You-Noonan Shows Her East Coast Elitism

A Farewell to Harms - WSJ.com

What is Peggy Noonan's problem, once again the question is asked. Give me a break, we have a community organizer in the White House. Peggy is just a good prose writer, but how that makes her a good judge of what is best for us, I don't know. Ronald Reagan would be proud that a Westerner was stepping up and talking about the America where people get up and are motivated to do good for their families and community. Palin has school age children, a child with special needs, a son in the military, a husband who does dangerous work. Yet she manages to portray that "feminine genius" that John Paul II talkes about. Noonan is having a hard time with that aspect. She would have a hard time with a lot of woman who would not make the mark at the local cocktail party of the elite. She lacks charity in her attack on Sarah Palin. Frankly, it is very ugly and unattractive. Hey Peggy, Sarah has stepped up run for offices and won. Why don't you do the same and demonstrate what it is you don't think we are grasping in the situation.

A Movie about Women You Must See- Stoning of Soraya

Iranian star of 'Stoning' speaks of her own experiences | Philadelphia Daily News | 06/26/2009 This article highlights one of the stars of the new film "The Stoning of Soraya", a realistic portrayal of brutality that goes on today. The subject should be one that compels people to realize these cultural issues do matter in a society that values human rights. How women and children are treated is the business of society as the culture is determined by the value of the dignity of the human person. The movie also shows moments of the true beauty that is in authentic feminism, which often shines in the ugliest of backdrops--much like the tender stories of the women who showed compassion at the time of the passion of Christ. Go see this movie, The Stoning of Soraya.

China's One Child Policy and Its Consequences

So much bravado out there regarding the virtues of totalitarian societies, yet getting the actual impacts of these harmful ideas takes far too long.  The one-child policy harms the society especially the women and children in it. The Acton Institute has this article posted by Anthony Bradley that faces these consequences head on.  Here is an excerpt:

The market for kidnapped boys can be traced directly to China’s family planning policies, which encourage sex-selective abortion of baby girls. In 2005, The New England Journal of Medicine reported that abortion after ultrasoundnography accounts for a large proportion of the decline in female birth rates. Estimates put the number of female sex-selected abortions at 40 million, generating a combination of one of the lowest fertility rates in the world and a disproportionately high number of male births.

Brides have thus become scarce. By 2000, among rural men, 27 percent at age 40 were unmarried. This situation has created demand for other illicit markets: for kidnapping and trafficking women for marriage or sex slavery, and to staff the burgeoning commercial sex industry.

Many are not aware that homosexuality is also a problem in China, and of course, should bring the problem of AIDs to the forefront.  Here you can find an excerpt of a scholarly paper on the issue. Homosexual behaviour without homosexual identity: The case of Chinese men having sex with men (MSM).  Winkelmann C; International Conference on AIDS (15th : 2004 : Bangkok, Thailand). The excerpt itself is informative.  Is China becoming the case study for these nihilistic policies?

In Hiatus with regard to the California Republican Party:  My thoughts on a Meg Whitman Candidacy:

I think Whitman’s problem is first and foremost mainstream women.  Sarah Palin is one of us.  She gets the importance of the life issue, what the women’s movement is really about.  She is authentic.  I don’t want a politician that  can’t understand that it is not natural to flush a child, any child down a sink for any reason.  I don’t want the scars of abortion to go unnoticed and we want our future generation preserved from genocide. We need smaller government that supports the family and does not fight it.  I need a free market back in California.  The California University and College system needs to be restored to excellent educational institutions and not propaganda centers. Give people back their own money and let them fund the things they feel are important.  Get candidates that can speak a well-thought sentence.   The Democrat party, as it stands now, is the party of tax cheats, abortion supporters and those that lobby for programs that will further exploit our daughters in the misguided sexual revolution that has only brought more venereal disease, depression, low self-esteem, single parent homes and un-natural family situations.  Meg Whitman is not comfortable with any of these issues.  She will not be much different from what we now have in office.  She will want them off the table.  By the way, the party should stop telling us what women think.  I am a  woman and I know what I think!
