Glaucoma treatment rules in hands of one man
A good opthalmologist can save your eyesight and sometimes your life, because he is a full-fledged MD and not a technician. Optomotrists got the law passed to be able to call themselves "Doctor", but they are not MD's. They have less experience than a well trained RN as far as medical conditions and yet they want to prescribe medicines that can impact the cardiovascular system, cause allergic reactions etc. Not a good bet in my book.
