The Valley Catholic - October 23, 2012 Vol. 30 No. 13–Joomag: Is it an editorial picture on page one endorsing Obama without saying so?

The Valley Catholic - October 23, 2012 Vol. 30 No. 13 - Joomag

Is it an editorial picture on page one endorsing Obama without saying so?  One could argue yes.  One could ask where is the guidance about voting for religious freedom rights?  Having Obama’s picture above Pope Benedict XVI seems to say it is OK to vote for Obama without any consequences to one’s soul even though he is extremely prochoice, which is in truth, anti-woman. Pictures can be editorials.  What a paper leads off with is an editorial in itself.

And this from the Vatican about a properly formed conscience and voting:

Hillary Clinton trashes whiners - Kevin Robillard - POLITICO.com

Hillary Clinton trashes whiners

Wow! Talk about full circles.  The woman, who confessed she didn’t bake cookies for the school bake sale, calls women whiners who express difficulties trying to balance home and career.  Of course, this is with the backdrop of the Obama campaign putting Mitt Romney down for looking at the binder of resumes of women who he could bring into his administration.

Hillary, in a very big example, demonstrates the problem women have in the workplace with other women. They can bring a lot of stress with their judgmental attitudes of how other women should conduct themselves.  Women judge other women very harshly, instead of helping them to figure out how to balance their acts. When a women with family and work is perceived to have endless choices, people think they should choose “all the above” and deal with it, which is the problem.

Important Research on the Mental-Health Effects of Abortion - By Michael New - The Corner - National Review Online

Important Research on the Mental-Health Effects of Abortion - By Michael New - The Corner - National Review Online

This type of information is very important to be aware of so you can share it with those anticipating or who have gone through an abortion.  It should be a part of responsible informed consent to warn a woman that they are in danger of a post traumatic reaction to the abortion.  The pro-abortion lobby does not want women to know that this happens.

A young abortion doctor's dilemma - thestar.com

A young abortion doctor's dilemma - thestar.com

This was a potent look at relativism in the lives of abortion providers.  It is a lot of stories in one story.    I would say that most universities these days are for providing a sterile environment to inoculate, nurture and grow cultures of relativism and thereby promoting the eroding of well-formed consciences.  No contamination of natural and moral laws can be allowed especially when it comes to “choice”.  The funny thing is, as with any lab situation dealing with cultures, it is so easy to “contaminate”, and that is good news for the prolife community.

Iran 'stoning woman' to be lashed over photo: son

Iran 'stoning woman' to be lashed over photo: son
I don't have a problem with people believing in a different religion, but I do have a problem with anyone seriously asserting that we can have a duel set of justice i.e. American juris prudence along side Shariah. Shariah is coercive in the least and enslavement at its worst towards women. How can a woman leave Islam if they are bound by a law that says they can't and a law that encourages honor killings if they do? If it is so wonderful, let the men wear the burkha's. After all they are the ones who can't handle a photo of a woman without a headress. Time to be very clear about these things.

Iran issues warning to 62,000 'badly veiled' women

Iran issues warning to 62,000 'badly veiled' women
This is not the kind of society I would want to live in. Yet fools think that we can have Islamic law operating side by side with governments such as we have in America. There can be no true freedom in the exercise of religion in a society that tolerates the mistreatment of women, and just because some women choose to go along with it because of fear or ignorance of what happens to other women in their society does not mean we in the free world should not oppose this. Shame on people who will go along with such a notion, because they are encouraging a lie. Islam is not compatible with Christianity. WE can talk from points of agreement, but we can not agree that they are compatible. Here is an excellent article that is an interview with a woman who was a victim of Sharia law. FrontPage Magazine - Escaping Sharia: "Escaping Sharia By: Jamie Glazov FrontPageMagazine.com | Monday, March 31, 2008"
And just in case you think this can never happen in America and that the society would never sanction this violence against women, then you should read No reason to be tolerant of female genital mutilation - The Globe and Mail: . The price of liberty is eternal vigilence as a founding father once pointed out.
