Regarding Carly and her 'prolife' Status & Her article "Surviving Breast Cancer: My Take" | BlogHer

Surviving Breast Cancer: My Take | BlogHer: "Surviving Breast Cancer: My Take"

That is why the work of countless charities such as the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation is so vital, and why every awareness-raising effort, from reminding female friends and family members not to forget that all-important exam or mammogram, to cancer survivors
So what does Carly mean when she says she is prolife? These three organizations have serious issues with the prolife community. Lance Armstrong Foundation has funded research that use embryonic stem cells. Breast Cancer Research receives money from Estee Lauder cosmetics and Life Site News  (http://www.lifenews.com/nat5618.html) reports on Estee Lauder (they have boycotted it). As for the Susan G. Komen Foundation you can get more of the story here: http://www.lifenews.com/nat4827.html and view a video at http://www.facinglife.tv/episode/season_3/episode_11/episode_311.html

Perhaps, Carly should change her recommendations to the group supported by Dr. Angela Lanfranchi, M.D., F.A.C.S. ...and make a real difference.
