How this has been needed to be stated on the record by the Church hierarchy! Kennedy did more to undermine the thinking of our founders. We are to be leery of a government who grabs more and more power to itself, because it necessarily in the process must take more and more away from the individual. That, in turn, leads to interfering into what the individual does best for himself and his family. A socialistic government violates the principle of subsidiarity.
