Vatican laments drop in confessions

Is the loss of the knowledge of sin perhaps the root cause of Catholics voting for hardcore pro-choice candidates and Catholic Colleges actively working to diminish the Catholic identity? Perhaps a better name for groups calling for the reform of Catholic faith would be Voices of the Unrepentant. The anticipated document can't arrive a moment too soon.
